Qattf: An Emirati-owned farm known for its local figs

Qattf, meaning the act of “picking a fruit to harvest in Arabic, is an Emirati-owned, family-owned farm. Known for its fresh, ripe and juicy local figs, the folks at Qattf took over the 25-year-old farm in 2020. Harvesting twice a week and delivering to all corners of the UAE, the team at Qattf use refrigerated vehicles to guarantee the best quality and freshness…

The farm also produces seasonal corn and juicy dates (in the summer), alongside its coveted figs, which are available 9+ months of the year. As of 2023, Qattf started supplying its produce to local restaurants, cafes, and bakers, and there are plans in the works to offer farm visits to the public for 2024.

The HUNTR tried a fig delivery, which is priced at 60AED per kg. The prices do change depending on the season and where the farm is at the time of the harvest period.

The figs were juicy, sweet, and some of the best we’ve ever tried. You’ll love them.

Insider tips: Orders can be placed via WhatsApp here. Delivery within Abu Dhabi is priced at 30-35AED. Delivery to other emirates is 50AED. All deliveries are done in refrigerated vehicles. Keep tabs on Qattf’s news here
